Term 3 Events
We are anticipating a busy ten week term, filled with many annual highlights. In the Music department, September is going to be a busy month with the senior students putting the finishing touches on their performances and compositions in preparation for the HSC recitals. There is also the Penrith Eisteddfod on the 21st August and the Annual Gala Concert on the 11th September to practise and prepare for. The Industrial Technology major works will be completed by the senior students in the next few weeks. With 15 students each producing an item, this is the largest senior cohort we have accommodated yet. The Wood Tech room is a constant hive of activity. We plan to showcase the work of the students once the HSC markers have completed their marking in August.
The primary and secondary zone athletics carnivals are scheduled for August and we are hosting a Federal Member of Parliament, Russell Matheson at our Primary Assembly on 1st August and the students will be able to show off the new music block and express their appreciation for the monetary commitment the Federal Government made to enable this project to be completed.
